- You're definitely not the only one having problems. I tried for two months
- just to get a replacement for a defective adapter for a USR PCMCIA modem.
- (You know, the little 3" cord the phone line hooks into). I never did get
- one, after 20-30 phone calls and e-mail messages. So I went and bought a
- Megahertz modem for the user, and have been actively boycotting USR ever
- since. I work in computer support at a major university, so I like to think
- I can do some good by dissuading people from buying USR.
